Geology is a branch of natural science that studies the structure of the Earth, rocks and minerals, and their weathering processes. Students learn to identify soil-forming rocks in Lithuania, the factors influencing soil formation, and soil classification. They will understand the composition, properties, and structure of soils. They will be familiar with geological processes, be able to recognize processes occurring in the soil, and select appropriate solutions for their management.
